It seems like mason jars (and for some reason moustaches) are in fashion. When this recipe for Mason Jar Chocolate Chia Pudding was sent to me via my mom’s yoga teacher in Arizona, I couldn’t resist sharing it. If you haven’t tried chia seeds yet, then give them a go. In addition to being fashionable, they are and loaded with fibre and healthy omega-3 fats. Used as the main ingredient in this recipe, chia pudding creates a superfood breakfast will keep you full and energized all morning. Say Ommmmm!
In a glass mason jar, add 6 Tbsp chia seeds, 1Tbsp honey or agave nectar, 2 Tbsp raw cacao powder and then fill the jar up 3/4 full with almond milk (I used vanilla flavour). Shake the jar to mix the ingredients together and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, pour some pudding into a bowl and top with whatever berries, nuts or seeds you’d like.
